This tutorial is about creating lyrics using LRC Editor Author:
GPCarreon
Requirements: 1. Lyric Editor 4.0 available FREE
from http://www.mycnknow.com/LRCEditor.zip
2. Winamp Media Player for Windows available from http://www.winamp.com
3. Your favorite song in WAV, MP3 or OGG format. 4. Lyrics in *.txt format,
you can search for the lyrics of your track on the internet. 5. Mini Lyrics
Magic for MS-Smartphone from http://www.mycnknow.com
For this tutorial we are going to use 1. 'More Than I Can Say' by Leo Sayer,
MP3 file available using this URL: http://www.mycnknow.com/download/MORETHANICANSAY.mp3
2. The lyrics of the song can be easily searched on the internet knowing
the title and artist. Copy the txt file of the lyrics to your computers clipboard
(use Ctrl C)
Instructions: 1. Open 'MORETHANICANSAY.mp3' using
Winamp. Do not play the track yet.
2. Open LRC Editor 4.0 and paste contents of clipboard to the editor's work area
(the white area). Ensure that the lyrics are arranged one line after the other,
vertically oriented.
3. Type song info at the corresponding areas: Title, Artist, Album, Editor. You
can also select the language using the drop-down menu.
4. To insert time tracks to the lyrics, use 'F5" button of your keyboard.
The trick is you have to hit F5 when you hear the first word of each song line.
Most songs begin with instrumentals. Like on our sample MP3 file, 'Oh'
word from 'Oh oh yeah yeah' line played 00:21.05 seconds after initial
playback.

You will notice that I assigned a time track for 00:01.61 with a value 'More
Than I Can Say by Leo Sayer'. This will be the first line you will see
when you play the MP3 file on your phone. You can insert custom characters.
This is just to demonstrate how the lyrics work.
5. Having those techniques in mind, continue inserting time tracks for your project.
You can control Winamp using the buttons on the editor. You can pause for missed
lines, stop Winamp etcetera.
Take note that the cursor where you insert time tracks automatically shifts down
the next line as you hit F5 button. In case you shift to a blank line, just hit
the down arrow of your keyboard to shift to the next line.
6. When you are finished with inserting the time tracks, save your work as *.lrc
file.
By
default, the editor saves lyric files in 'Artist' - 'Song Title' format.
That is important to know since you should also save your MP3 file in that format
for Mini Lyrics Magic to recognize the *.lrc file. Hence, 'Leo Sayer - More Than
I Can Say.mp3' will recognize 'Leo Sayer - More Than I Can Say.lrc'.
7. Transfer both the LRC and MP3 file to a folder in your Storage Card.
8. Launch Mini Lyrics magic on your phone, hit 'Playlist' > Add

Locate the MP3 file, check and hit 'Done'

9. Play the track, enjoy singing
